Wilma “Jean” Miller of West Bloomfield passed away peacefully January 14, 2025 at the age of 78.  She was born July 2, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan to Arnold and Thelma (Graham) Miller.

Jean was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Farmington Chapter #239 for 59 years. Jean held many officer positions within Eastern Star including Worthy Matron, Associate Matron, and Secretary.  Not only did Jean hold positions within the Farmington chapter, she also held offices statewide such as Michigander Club President, and Grand Representative of California. 

Jean was employed by Farmington Schools for over 20 years where she worked until her retirement. Jean enjoyed traveling with friends, shopping, spoiling nieces and nephews, a round of golf and loved an University of Michigan Wolverine football game. Go Blue!

Jean was predeceased by both parents, Arnold and Thelma Miller.

Survived by brother, Kenneth (Marlis) Miller. Beloved friend of 61 years to Sandra L. Ritter. Dearest aunt of Laura (Gary) Goslin, Jody Miller, Sarah (Neal) Williams & Michael (Heather) Ritter. Great aunt to Franklin, Ella Anne, Henry, Jackson, Reese, Stella & Cameron. A special thank you to Jean’s caregivers, Lena Accad and Cathy Hardwoodward who lovingly cared for Jean until her passing.

Visitation Sunday, January 26, 2025 from 3-7 pm at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home, 33603 Grand River Avenue, Farmington, Michigan 48335.  Additional visitation Monday, January 27, 2025 from 10 am until time of funeral service at 11 am at Thayer Rock funeral home.  Interment will follow at Acacia Park Cemetery, Beverly Hills, Michigan.
