Suzanne Lillian (Plansek) Tehovnik

Suzanne Tehovnik of Northville passed away January 19, 2024 at the age of 82.  She was born May 2, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan.

Beloved wife of 36 years to the late William.  Loving mother of Mark (Lizeth) Glidden and Vicki Glidden.  Dearest grandma of Brandy Glidden, Ashley (Greg) Glidden, and Mark Glidden Diaz; Proud great-grammy of Asyia, Colton, and Palmer.  Sister of the late Billy Plansek and the late Cindy Gushel.  Suzy is also survived by many cousins. 

Sue was a survivor and overcame more than most could handle, especially when it came to her health. Sue was a an incredibly passionate fan of the Detroit Tigers and a lifelong admirer of Englebert Humperdinck.

The family will receive guests Tuesday, January 23, 2024 from 3-8 pm with a Rosary service at 7 pm at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home, 33603 Grand River Avenue, Farmington, Michigan 48335.

A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 9:30 am (instate 9:00 am) at St. Aidan Catholic Church, 17500 Farmington Rd, Livonia, MI 48152. 

Interment will take place at Thursday, January 25, 2024 Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan. 

Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Leader Dogs for the Blind.
