Shirley Jean Conner of Commerce Michigan, passed away quietly on November 26, 2024 at the age of 96. Born on September 23, 1928, in Detroit to Henry and Olga Rademacher, Shirley lived a life rich in love, adventure, and laughter.
Devoted wife of Ed for over 50 years. Loving mother of David (Maria), the late Paul (Terry), and the late Craig. Cherished grandma of Megan (Brendan), Melissa (Evan), Bradley (Erin), and Andrew (Madalyn). Beloved great-grandma of Ava, Everett, Oliver, Alex, Beckett, Grace, and Jack (on the way). Her vibrant spirit will be missed dearly by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A passionate reader, Shirley found joy in unraveling mysteries within the pages of exciting novels and embraced the romance of beloved stories. In her younger years, she fostered a deep sense of adventure within her family, traveling extensively across the country on road trips that created lasting memories. Shirley also cherished her journeys to Germany and marveled at the beauty of the world through numerous cruises.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home 33603 Grand River Ave., Farmington, MI 48335.
