Santino Lupo

Santino “Sandy” Lupo, age 90 of Harper Woods, went to be with our Lord on
Friday, June 17, 2022.
He was born in 1931, in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Francesco and Pauline
Lupo. He was the youngest son of a family of ten siblings, predeceased by
Sam, Benny, Joe, Mary, Frank, Jimmy, and Phyllis. Survived by Josephine
and Grace.
Santino was the beloved husband of the late Virginia Lupo for 49 years. He
was the loving father of three children; Paula (Frank) Badalamente, Donald
(Mary) Lupo, and the late Michael Anthony Lupo. He is survived by six
grandchildren Julie (Daniel) Dumont, Michael (Dani) Lupo, John (Julia) Lupo,
Brianne Badalamente, Stephen (Kristi) Lupo, Kara Badalamente and three
great grandchildren Isla Lupo, Noah Dumont and Clara Lupo.
Santino graduated from Detroit Eastern High School in 1951. He was a US
Army veteran, active in his church and the Knights of Columbus. He retired
from Comerica Bank after 35 years of service (without ever calling in for a sick
day). He was a very hard worker, dedicated to his family, and devoted to the
Lord.
A graveside service for family will take place at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 1,
2022, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit. 17100 Van Dyke Ave, Detroit, MI

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Bonaventure Monastery
(Detroit) in memory of Santino Lupo and Family. Website link is
