Sandra Denise Buerk of Farmington passed away October 14, 2023, at the age of 84.  She was born March 17, 1939, in Wyandotte, Michigan and raised in Lincoln Park, Michigan to John and Anne Poznick.  Beloved wife of the late H. Philip Buerk.  Loving mother of Jonathan Philip (Sara) Buerk, Elizabeth Anne (Donald) Meadors, and Heather Amalia (Michael) McCool.  Dearest grandmother of Jacob (Lindsey) Meadors, Devin (Spencer) Schoonover, Nicholas Meadors, Griffin Buerk, Elizabeth Buerk, and Sydney Buerk.  Dear great-grandmother of Quinn, Kade, and Cam.  Sister-in-law of Janet Poznick, Nancy (Dr. Richard) Dean, and Richard Buerk.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her brother Larry Poznick.  The family will celebrate Sandra at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home, 33603 Grand River Avenue, Farmington, Michigan 48335 on Monday, October 23, 2023, from 3PM-7PM.  Additional visitation will begin at 10AM until time of funeral service at 11AM at the funeral home.
