Beloved Mother of Bonnie Champagne, Therese (Grady) Smith and Stephen (Hana) Rickerman. Loving Grandmother of Christopher, Andrew, and Michael. Pre-deceased by her parents, Stephen and Teresa Herceg, of Chicago, Illinois. Cherished companion of Kenneth Chirpka; also survived by dearest cousins, nieces, nephews, and many close friends.

Rosemarie retired from the State of Michigan, Department of Social Services, with a 15 year career. Faithful and lifelong member of both Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish in Detroit, and St. Mark's in Warren, Michigan. Rosemarie was an avid reader; she loved music, dance, fashion, art, MICHIGAN College Football, playing games (Bridge, Scrabble, Pinochle), doing crossword puzzles, and spending quality time with her family and friends. She was a delight to be around, for any occasion, and her sweet nature, lively personality and comical moments will always be treasured and endearing memories. She leaves a legacy of hope and love to her family, as we look back on her exceptional modeling example of decency and honesty, kindness and perseverance, through joy and trials alike. We've been inspired to be the best that we can be.

Memorial Service 12:00 noon Saturday, January 9th, at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home in Downtown Farmington, MI. Fr. Mario Amore, Associate Pastor of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Farmington, will officiate.

Rosemarie's family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the 12:00 noon Memorial Service at the Funeral Home.
