Romeo Ernest Caillouette, age 63 of Farmington Hills, passed away surrounded by loved ones Wednesday, July 6, 2022.

Born in Detroit, Michigan the son of Romeo and Geraldine (Drouillard) Caillouette.  Predeceased by his father, Romeo J. Caillouette, brother in Law Fred Frazier, sister Tammy Branum.

Dear brother of Sharon Frazier, Gregory (Jan) Caillouette, Lyle (Pamela) Caillouette, Alan Caillouette, Theresa Caillouette, John Caillouette, and Anne Bumbalough (Jeffery).

Caring uncle of Sueann Frazier, Jennifer Brown (Robert), Michelle Hastings (Jason), Jamie Bravata, James Hock (Adreanna), Jacqulyn Caillouette (Jewel), Adam Caillouette, Kate Caillouette, and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

Romeo served in the U.S. Army July 1977- July 1981, and again November 1982- April 1992, including Desert Storm 1991. He served with both the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions.  Romeo spent much of his life in the clouds as an expert paratrooper and professional skydiver. 

He enjoyed travelling throughout the United States, especially sharing his time with nieces Skyler and Kinsley in Texas.  Romeo also enjoyed photography, hunting and other shooting sports.

The Caillouette family will receive guests 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Wednesday, July 13th at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home, Farmington, Michigan.

Internment with Military Honors beginning at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 14th, at Great Lakes National Cemetery 4200 Belford Road, Holly, Michigan 48442.

Memorial donations in memory of Romeo are suggested to United Service Organization (USO), American Red Cross, Salvation Army of South Eastern Michigan
