Robert J. Harris of Redford passed away unexpectedly on October 17, 2023 at the age of 84.  He was born June 12, 1939 in Charleston, West Virginia to Robert and Ruby Harris.  He proudly served in the US Army.  Beloved husband of Patsy Harris.  He was also survived by three children, four step-children, and seven grandchildren.  He was predeceased by one sister.  He loved woodworking and was a born again Christian.  Visitation Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 9 am until time of funeral service at 11 am at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home, 33603 Grand River Avenue, Farmington, Michigan 48335.  Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia, Michigan.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
