Raymond Paul Kastamo age 84, died February 18, 2024. A resident of Brighton for 20 years.

Raymond was born on March 11, 1939 in Waukegan, Illinois.

Raymond married Ruth Adele Lytikainen on December 28, 1963.

Ruth preceded him in death on November 3, 2004 after 41 years of marriage.

Survived by his loving children Chrystine (Tom) Ylitalo, Leonard (Laura) Kastamo, Karen (Tom) Storm,

Cheryl (Steve) Halonen, Douglas (Danielle) Kastamo, Dennis (Jana) Kastamo, Thomas (Lisa) Kastamo,

Timothy (Kim) Kastamo, Koren (Phil) L’Esperance, Lance Kastamo and Leah (Jeff) Wiitanen.

Devoted grandfather of 72 and great grandfather of 54.

Dearest brother of Jean and (Arch) Linna, and brother-in-law Paul Jackola and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Sylvia Kastamo, mother and father in laws

Albert and Julia Lytikainen and siblings Jim (Barbara) Kastamo, Ron (Jean) Kastamo and Betty Jackola.

Funeral services: Friday 11 am, February 23, 2024 at First Apostolic Lutheran Church, 2970 Oak Grove Rd., Howell.   In state 10:00 am until 11:00 am.

Visitation: Thursday 4 pm to 8 pm at the First Apostolic Lutheran Church.

Interment: Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Novi.
