Philip Richard Ramberg, of Farmington, passed away on May 15, 2023, at 81 years old. Philip was born on January 17, 1942, in Calumet, Michigan to parents Paul W. and Laura K. Ramberg. Philip graduated from Lincoln High School in Ypsilanti. After graduation, Philip went on to work at Ford Motor Company and then to own his own company, Ram Engineering. In his spare time, Philip enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Philip is survived by his beloved wife of over 60 years, Elizabeth Amelia; children Laura (Len) Kastamo, Scott Ramberg, Kevin Ramberg, Christopher (Joni) Ramberg, the late Todd Ramberg and the late Steven Ramberg, grandchildren Shane (Carlye) Kastamo, Karissa (Ryan) Johnson, Brooke (Ryan) Daavettila, Chloë, (Nels) Helminen, Philip Kastamo, Mariah Ramberg, Jacob Kastamo, Elizabeth Kastamo, Josefīina Kastamo, and Rose Kastamo; Great-Grandchildren Graham Kastamo, Ari Kastamo, Savannah Daavettila, and Zoë Helminen; Siblings: Lois (Tom) Kramer, Noreen (Jim) Laho and the late Carol (John) Heinonen.
Funeral service will take place at First Apostolic Lutheran Church, 2970 Oak Grove Rd, Howell, MI 48855, on Friday, May 19, 2023, at 11:30 am. Visitation Thursday, May 18, 2023, from 2:30 pm until 6:00 pm at the First Apostolic Lutheran Church.
Interment at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens in Novi.
