Patricia Endres Fisher

Patricia Fisher completed her life's journey on 24 December 2022 . She joined her husband, Jack Fisher, who died in 2010, a daughter, Eileen Byrnes who died in 2016, a son, Joseph, who died as an infant, her parents, Ted and Helen Endres, a sister, Mary Ann Hartner and brothers, Ted and Marty Endres.  Left to remember her are daughters Therese Fisher (Dan), Kathleen Badger (Frank) and Elizabeth Zanoff (Bill), sons Bruce Fisher (Shirley) and Christopher Fisher (Rebecca), nine grand children, eleven great-grand children and many nieces and nephews.

Pat's journey began on 16 May 1927 in Detroit, Michigan. In her teenage years she thought she would become a nun.  The seven children born to her are grateful she changed her mind.  Pat was meant to be a mother.  Her greatest joys and achievements were in that role.  She relished guiding her children to become productive, independent people.  Jack's job took them from Detroit to Richmond, Virginia, Fairfax, Virginia, Exton, Pennsylvania, Newington, Connecticut and back to Michigan.  Through all of the uprooting, Pat remained cheerful and upbeat, making each move an adventure for her children and enjoyed making friends that remained friends through the rest of her life.

Pat's last years were spent at Halstead Place in Farmington Hills where her cheerful disposition remained intact.  The caring staff at Halstead and the loving care provided by Gateway Home Care and Residential Hospice Care helped keep her comfortable and retain her dignity through a debilitating illness that she endured since 2010. Visits from caring family members cheered her.
