Ora “Katie” Matheny, of Farmington, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at the age of 85.  Ora was born in Grantsville, West Virginia on February 2, 1939 to the late Fred and Ednal Kelley. Loving wife of the late William Matheny.   

Cherished sister of Des (Robert), Betty (Harold), the late Garnet (David),the late Larry and the late Jerry.  Beloved mother of Julie (Thomas) Goulding, Greg (Brenda) Wease, Jeff (Merrie) Matheny, the late Ronald (Michelle) Wease, and the late Laura (Jeff) Conway. Loving grandmother of Melissa, Jessica (Chad), Jacob, Bethany (Robb), Heather, Andrew (Nina), Kelley (Tom), Christina, Jennifer (Kane), Mark, Stefanie (John), Cara, and Lauren (Mike). Loved great-grandmother of Connor, Angelis, Savannah, Daryllyn, Jase, Jaxon, Briella, Adam, Melody, Charlotte, Johnny, Clyde, Lily, Kane, Molly, Maggie, Ember, Echo, Abrianna, Collins, Caden, Johnny, Nora, Gabriel, and Abel.

Katie enjoyed traveling and crafting in her spare time. She was very proud of her family and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. If there was an antique shop nearby, you’d find her shopping!
