Mary Ruth (Laird) Ivanac

Mary Ruth Ivanac of Farmington Hills, Michigan, passed away on June 10, 2024, at the age of 62. Born on June 25, 1961, in Livonia, Michigan, Mary was a beloved wife, daughter, and mother who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

With a heart full of love and dedication, Mary was married to her husband Russell for 35 years, sharing a bond that was evident to all who knew them. She cherished her role as a wife and mother, often stating that "family is everything." Her kind and caring nature extended beyond her immediate family, as she found joy in coaching kids' softball and providing support to her community.

Mary found solace in the great outdoors, enjoying camping trips with her family and creating countless cherished memories under the open sky. Excited and proud to work with her brothers at Laird Bros Auto Glass, Mary brought her steadfast work ethic and unwavering commitment to every task she undertook.

She is survived by her loving husband, Russell Ivanac, her children, Russell (Mana), Natasha, Tatiana, and Zachariah Ivanac, her grandchildren Robert and Omid  and a host of relatives and friends, including 11 siblings who were touched by her warmth and kindness.

In honor of Mary's memory, her loved ones will continue to cherish the legacy of love, compassion, and selflessness that she leaves behind. May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace.

A Memorial Visitation will take place on Thursday June 13, 2024 from 3-8 pm  (Rosary  7 pm) at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home 33603 Grand River Ave, Farmington, MI  48335. 9:30 am until time of memorial service at 10:00 am.
