Mary Beth Irwin, age 72, went to be with her Lord March 28, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lillian Irwin and her sister Judy Irwin. She is survived by her sister Joan Irwin of Southfield, Michigan. Mary Beth lived in Wixom, Michigan for many years and most recently in Westland and Clinton Township, Michigan. Mary Beth graduated from Southfield High School and played the flute in the high school band. She also played the accordion. Mary Beth always had cats, and they brought her great joy. She took good care of them and loved all of them. She had many ceramic cats as well as cat jewelry, shirts, and scarves.

Mary Beth was very active in the Single Point Ministries group from Ward Church in Northville, Michigan. She was in the bowling league with Single Point and sang in the Single Point choir, Prime Time Singers, for several years. Later she sang in the choir at Brightmoor Christian Church in Novi, Michigan. She was a member of a Bible Study group with a special group of women for several years. Mary Beth retired from Botsford Hospital from a career as a Radiology Technician. One of her best memories was attending the Gaither Homecoming Caribbean Cruise in 2009. It was a joy of a lifetime for her. She had many pictures that she shared and stories to go with every picture.

Per Mary Beth’s wishes, she was cremated. A private lunch will be held to celebrate the life and homegoing of Mary Beth. The family and friends of Mary Beth want to thank the director and staff of Happy Hearts Group Home in Clinton Township and the Hospice staff at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital for their excellent love and care of Mary Beth. She will be lovingly missed by all who knew her.
