Mark Bernard Machlay of Farmington Hills passed away January 30, 2025 at the age of 70.  He was born May 8, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan to Alexander and Erlene Machlay.  Mark proudly served in the US Navy. 

Beloved husband of Laurie for 43 wonderful years.  Loving father of Mark (Rachel) Machlay and Megan (Donovan) Lui.  Dearest grandfather of Declan, Rory, Alice, Bryn, and Cara.  Dear brother of James (Claire) Machlay, the late Joann Machlay, Thomas Machlay, and his twin brother the late Scott (Diane) Machlay. 

Visitation Sunday February 2, 2025 from 2 pm until time of funeral service at 5 pm at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home, 33603 Grand River Avenue, Farmington, Michigan 48335.  Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Detroit, Michigan.
