Marcia Diane Campbell Gladwell

December 7, 1933 - January 12, 2024

Marcia Campbell, of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan passed away on January 12, 2024 at the age of 90.

Marcia was born on December 7, 1933 in Detroit Michigan.  She was the first child of Mark and Vera (Hopkins) Rehbine.  She had one younger sister, Janice (McDonald), deceased.

Marcia was a lifelong resident of Michigan.  After graduation from high school, she married, Dick Sutton; they moved to Hawaii given his service in military.  Soon after, Marcia returned to Michigan and was subsequently married to Richard (Campbell) for 36 years, until his passing in 2002.  In her later years, she met and married Bob Gladwell, deceased.

Marcia and her family were avid travelers, exploring nearly every state in the US an traveling to Europe, Canada, Mexico and South America.  She had a passion for water skiing, painting, bridge and board games - she was especially known for her 'stoup'.  Marcia enjoyed a great deal of involvement in her church community at Southfield Presbyterian Church, participated in the choir and bell choir and was treasurer and secretary.  She always treasured the life-long friends made there.  Diagnosed with celiac disease in her fifties, Marcia was keen to educate others and was a key member of the (now defunct) Tri-county Celiac Support Group.

Marcia is survived by 3 children - Kelly Campbell Harris, Kurt Campbell, and Robin (Sutton) Begarowicz.  She also had 6 grandkids: Maia and Kyra; Avery and Griffin; Julia and Paul.

Due to Marcia's love of all things canine and her rescuing many four-legged friends, any donations can be made to the Michigan Humane Society in memoriam.
