Leonardo “Nards” del Pilar, Sr.

Of Makati, Philippines, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle.  His Lord and Savior called Leo home, on Sunday, January 30, 2022. He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Dr. Erlinda B. del Pilar; Son, Leonardo “Jun-Jun” B. del Pilar, Jr.; Daughter Elaine(Anthony) Gines and grandchildren Augustine(AJ) and Miriam.  

He was a brother to Roberto(Elvira) del Pilar, with kids Rolando, Roderick, Rommel, Mary Ann Margareth;  Emiliana(Robert) Cook;  Milagros(Vicente) Garen, with kids Arnold, Arnel, Arlene, Arlan, Christian Nino; and Carmelita(Enrique) Dasic, with kids Louie Gerald and Andrew; He was also a brother-in-law to Lauro(Ellen) Balagot, Jr., with kids Janethe(Ronald), Christopher(Katrine), Carolyn(Carey), Frederick(Janice);  Roberto(Jennie) Balagot, with kids Laurence(Mandy), April(Jason);  Jessie(Cha-Cha) with kids Jessica(Ronald), Joyce(Jonathan) and Mark.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eutiquiano Reyes del Pilar; Mother, Patrocinio del Pilar, Lauro Balagot, Sr., and Mother-in-law Remigia Buenavista Balagot.

The family will receive friends and family for viewing at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home, in Farmington, Michigan on Sunday, February 6, from 3-8pm. 

The Resurrection Mass will be held on Monday, February 7 at 11am at Prince of Peace Catholic Church 4300 Walnut Lake Road, West Bloomfield, MI. A short viewing will be held prior to the mass at 10:30am.
