Lawrence A. Heltsley

Lawrence A. Heltsley of Farmington Hills passed away suddenly on September 8, 2024 at the age of 73.  He was born July 13, 1951 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky to Lawrence T. and Mary B. Heltsley.  Beloved husband of Kay for 50 wonderful years.  Loving brother of Joe (Sharon) Heltsley.  Dearest uncle of Devon (Ryan) Steaban, and their children Brady, Caleb, Hank, and Lydia; and Lauren (Scott) Lyons, and their children Grayson and Flynn.  He was predeceased by his parents. Larry grew up in Pontiac, Michigan, graduated from Central Michigan University, and had a 33 year professional career in sales.  He retired in 2006 and spent the following years enjoying golfing, reading and family. 

Visitation Thursday, September 12, 2024 from 3-7 pm at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home, 33603 Grand River Avenue, Farmington, Michigan 48335.  Additional visitation Friday, September 13, 2024 from 10 am until time of funeral service at 11 am at the funeral home.  Interment will take place at All Saints Cemetery, Waterford Township, Michigan.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association.
