Kimberly LaParr

Kimberly LaParr, long-time resident of Redford, passed away November 29, 2021 at the age of 59.  She was born May 16, 1962 in Livonia, Michigan to her parents Wilford and Monteen Thompson.  In 1984 she married Charles LaParr, the love of her life and childhood sweetheart she met at the age of 14 at Livonia Church of God. Her faith and love for others has impacted countless lives over the years.  Many young adults still refer to her as Mama Kim.  As a grandmother, her heart-string was her (5) grandchildren. Loving mother of Ryan and Michaela (fiancé Jeremy Wallace). Dearest Nana to Rylynn, Payton, Isabella, Jaxon, and Kole. Dear sister of Brenda Thompson. Kimberly was predeceased by her parents.
