Obituary

Ken was born on October 31,1944 in Geneseo, New York to Clarence and Ethel Orman. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings; Clarence (Mary Ann), Larry (Barbara), Richard and Eileen, sister-in-law, Nancy (Wayne) Wigmore. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Linda (Wiede),  his sons Gregory, and Theodor (Cheryl L.),  sister, Cheryl A. (Randy) Overbey, sister-in-law, Colleen Orman, brother-in-law, James (Deborah) Wiede,  Grandchildren Justin, Matthew, Briar, Alyssa and Lukas, and many loving  nieces and nephews. Ken served in the U.S. Air Force from 1962-1966.  He was a Russian linguist and was stationed in Germany and Pakistan. Ken and Linda were married in 1966 in Kenmore, New York.  In 1977,  they moved with their two young sons from Rochester, New York to Farmington Hills, Michigan.  Ken worked as an Application Engineer - Sales Rep for 42 years. He enjoyed hunting, RV traveling, camping, golfing, bowling and playing softball.  He especially enjoyed coaching his sons in football and baseball and cheering on his grandchildren in all their activities. "Homer" was loved by many and will be greatly missed. 

A memorial visitation will take place on Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 4-6 pm at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home in Farmington, Michigan.
