Kenneth C. Congdon

Kenneth C. Congdon of Farmington Michigan, passed away peacefully on September 14 at the age of 92. Kenneth was born in Detroit on October 22, 1928. He was the beloved husband of his High School sweetheart Dorothy for 71 years. Loving father of Marc (Valerie) Congdon and Sandra (James) Muccioli. Proud Grandfather of Kevin (Rebecca) Congdon, Jason (Alexa) Muccioli, Matthew (Yifan) Muccioli and Robert Muccioli and Great-Grandfather to Eleanor and Vance Congdon and Rayla Muccioli. Kenneth’s working career spanned 42 years at Park Chemical Company in Detroit, MI where he started as a Shipping Clerk and worked his way up to becoming Vice President and CFO of financial operations. Kenneth also served for 3 years in the United States Coast Guard during the Korean conflict. Kenneth was an avid golfer and enjoyed traveling with his wife. Per the family’s wishes, a private immediate family only funeral will be held with no visitation. Kenneth will be laid to rest at Glen Eden Lutheran Memorial Park in Livonia.
