Judith (Judy) Ann L'Esperance of Farmington, Michigan passed away on November 26, 2024, at the age of 65, with her family by her side. She was born April 21, 1959 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Gordon and Evelyn (Nelson) Jacobson.
To her family, many friends, and everyone she met, she was known as a devoted mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend. Her kindness and thoughtfulness will be cherished and missed by all who knew her.
While raising her two daughters she worked at Sears and attended night school to pursue a degree in the medical field. Eventually she retired from working for medical reasons. She enjoyed cross-stich, solving puzzles, walks, and occasional travel with friends when she could.
She is survived by her daughters, Lita (Tony) Ray and Holly L'Esperance, and her grandchildren Mark, Tyler, Branden, and Zack. She leaves behind her brothers Ernest and Eric Jacobson, Aunt Norma Stipe and her family. She also leaves behind her extensive Christian family and friends of the First Apostolic Lutheran Church.
Visitation Wednesday, December 4, 2024 from 12 noon until time of funeral service at 1 pm at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home, 33603 Grand River Avenue, Farmington, Michigan 48335. Pastor Donald Pennala of the First Apostolic Lutheran Church in Howell will be officiating.
Interment will take place at Lakeview Cemetery, Calumet.
