Joseph (Joe) was born in Detroit, MI and resided in Farmington Hills, MI until his death at the age of 74. Joe gained his heavenly goal surrounded by his loving family. He was a member of The Old Apostolic Lutheran Church and carried a love for all of God's little children in his heart. His most cherished times were spent with his wife and their family at their summer cottage. He also enjoyed spending time working on projects with his grandchildren. He had stories to share with all he knew and memories of those visits will carry us in the days ahead.

Joe is survived by his wife Sharon (Sherry) of 49 years, and their children: Carrie (Scott) Gregson, Sandy (Kerry) Lobbestael, Rochelle (Anthony) Schlecht, Joseph "JJ" (Anna) Hentnik, Alina (Jeff) Muonio, and Brett (Patti) Hentnik; a loving grandfather to 26 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; along with many relatives and treasured friends on his life's journey.

Funeral services will be at The Old Apostolic Lutheran Church, 34100 West Eight Mile Road, Farmington Hills, MI 48335.  Visitation will be Friday, August 13th from 6-8 pm with funeral service Saturday, August 14th at 11 am.  Burial is to follow at Glen Eden Lutheran Memorial Park.
