John Edward Heinonen died February 16, 2023, age 83. John was born on June 14, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Matt and Edna Heinonen. He married Carol Jane Ruotanen on April 8,1961. They raised their family in Milford, and then after retirement, resided in Howell. He is preceded in death by his parents Matt and Edna Heinonen, his wife Carol, brother-in-law William Niemi, son-in-law Thomas Tormanen, grandson Daniel Heinonen, and granddaughter Charlotte Heinonen. John leaves behind his 13 children.
