Jeffery Robert Greenwald passed away August 18, 2025. He was born February 20, 1967, to Robert and Diane (Werner) Greenwald.

Beloved husband of Ruth: dearest father to Rachel (David), Anna Christa, Jeffery Jr, and Danielle (Corey): beloved grandfather to Elowyn and Filiberto: dear son to Diane Frederick: caring brother to Sherri (David) Gondoly, and Steve (Terry) Greenwald.

Jeff was a strong, compassionate, helpful, courageous, creative, intelligent man. He was the best dad and grandpa in the world. Being Ellie and Fil’s grandpa filled him with so much joy. It was a complete wonder to watch him with them.

Jeff was the kind of selfless, caring, wonderful man who was the life of the party. He was a master of the grill, knew how to make a mean drink, and always knew how to have a great time.

He immediately made friends with literally everyone he spoke to. He was warm and welcoming and went out of his way to help anyone and everyone. He was the one you called when you had questions about anything. He was the one who guided you when you don’t know what to do. 

He was so full of love and life. One of the best people on the planet. He will be missed by everyone who had the honor to know him.

Visitation for Jeffery will take place at Saturday, August 23, from 2:00 PM until 7:00 pm with a funeral service at 5:00 PM at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home, 33603 Grand River Ave., Farmington, MI 48335.
