James Oliver of Farmington, Michigan passed away on February 1, 2024.

James Ian Oliver was born March 3, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan to James and Gladys Oliver, who preceded him in death. 

James was the loving husband to Joan for 59 beautiful years. He was the dear brother of Sue Lawson and Gene Oliver.  He also had many nieces and nephews.

James was retired from the Detroit Police Department with the rank of Inspector, he also served in the US Marine Corp.  In his spare time he enjoyed golfing and fishing.

Per his wishes cremation has taken place.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
