Jacqueline Romeo (MacKenzie) of Farmington Hills, Michigan and Naples, Florida passed away on May 9, 2025 at the age of 93. She was born July 25, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan, to parents Lovell and Eleanor MacKenzie. Jacqueline graduated from MacKenzie High School in 1949 and went on to attend Secretarial School in Detroit. She spent her working career mainly in secretarial positions at Harper Hospital, Holly Carburetor, Sears, and Jacobsen’s leading up to a role in bank telling, where she retired at First Federal Savings. She met her husband Al at Tapen Middle School and reconnected with him after his army service. Married for 68 wonderful years, Al and Jacqueline stuck together through thick and thin. Jacqueline’s happy place was Naples Florida, where she lived for 30 years. She had great love for her dogs Flopsey, Kristi, and Keya. Beloved wife of Al Romeo. Loving mother of Dale (MaryAnn) Romeo and Bruce Romeo. Cherished grandmother of Lola Romeo. Caring sister of John (the late Stephanie) MacKenzie. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.


A private interment will take place.


Final resting place is Acacia Park Cemetery next to her dear parents.
