Jack McCloud passed away at the age of 96, surrounded by his loving family. Jack lived a wonderful life, and was preceded in death by his wife, Shirlee. A dedicated father to Kathie Shaffer and had a very special relationship with his son-in-law, Bill. Jack was a loving grandfather to Maggie and Patrick Gibbons, Billy Jr., and Kristi Shaffer. Some of his greatest joy came from the blessing of his six great-grandchildren: Austin, Billy III, Connor, Elizabeth, Preston McCloud, and Ethan. Jack was well traveled and loved to share a good meal with friends and family, never missing a baseball game, dance recital, hockey game, or cheer competition. He served in the United States Navy during World War II, returning after the war to continue a long successful career as a Vice President in the banking industry. He loved all things that celebrated his Irish heritage, playing records from his favorites Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, and Celtic music.
The family asks that donations are made in his honor to Heart to Heart Hospice, to continue the wonderful care and support that they provided for Jack in his final months. https://hearttohearthospice.com/
