Howard George Truran

June 5th, 1937 - November 5th, 2025

Howard passed peacefully in his sleep at home with his wife by his side.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert Edward Truran and Mary Elizabeth (Roll) Truran. Siblings, Albert Edward Truran Jr, Marjorie Elizabeth (Truran) Hanley, Warren David Truran, Peter William Truran, Bruce James Truran. Howard is survived by his wife of 63 years, Carolyn (Johnson) Truran. Daughter, Dawn Ann (Truran) Berg-Rogers. Son, Phillip Scott Truran. He has 4 grandchildren, Evan Joseph Berg, Todd Michael Truran, Megan Leigha Truran and Julie Elizabeth (Berg) Fawaz. He has 2 great-grandchildren, Porter Benjamin Truran and Vienna Rose Berg. Sister Katharine Ann (Truran) Knowles.

Howard served in the United States Air Force with pride in his country. Being a hard-working man, a gifted craftsman in tool and die and a businessman, he lived a life rich in purpose and passion. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family. We ask that he is remembered for the way he lived his life with faith in our Lord, love and dedication for his family, steadfast and humble in his integrity.

Husband, father, grandpa, brother, friend. To a life well lived. We love you always and live in our hearts forever.
