Georgine M. Mallia of Farmington Hills, Michigan, passed away March 28, 2024 at the age of 86. She was born January 1, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan to Joseph and Ann Finkowski.
Beloved wife of Joe for 66 wonderful years. Loving mother of Karen (William) Kloote, Mark Mallia, Diane Borman, Gary (Nina) Mallia, and Michael (Doni) Mallia. Loving grandmother of Christopher (Mary Kay) Kloote, Timothy Kloote, Michael (the late Patrice) Kloote, Melissa (Dac) Teoli, Brandon (Missy) Borman, Kirstin (Maria) Barajas, Cameron (Jennifer) Borman, Jacqueline (Robert) Iannacconne, Peter Mallia, Joseph Mallia, Nicole Mallia, Patrick Mallia. Dearest great-grandmother of Jackson, Charles, Louis, Naomi, Declan, Ari, Madelyn, Jude, Violet, Bridget, and one on the way. Georgine will also be greatly missed by a large extended family. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother Thomas Finkowski.
Visitation Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 3-8 pm with a Rosary at 7 pm at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home, 33603 Grand River Avenue, Farmington, Michigan 48335.
She will lie In state on Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 9:30 am until time of Mass at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 23815 Power Rd, Farmington, Michigan 48336.
Private Interment on Monday, April 8th will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery Holly, Michigan.
Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
