Frederick Polena “Butch” of Detroit, Michigan passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021, at the age of 74.

Born December 4, 1946, in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Frederick and Thelma Polena. Loving father of Ellen (David) Vassallo, proud grandfather of Robbie, Bryanna, Rebecca, Andrew and Isabella; caring brother of Debbie, Russell, Linda and Brenda.

Butch was a graduate of Redford Union High School. He serviced his country in the Army, Navy and Air Force Reserves. He was a coin and stamp collector, spending time with the Shriners and Mason’s.

The Polena family will receive guests 9:00am until the Memorial Service at 11:00 am Tuesday, November 23rd at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home Downtown Farmington.
