Eva A. Miner

Eva Miner sadly passed away peacefully May 27, 2026. She was born February 7, 1931, to William and Edla Lempea in Mohawk, MI.

In addition to her parents, Eva was preceded in death by her husband Clint and her eight older siblings.  

Eva was a loving mother to Greg (Ruth), Bill, and Tom (Kathy) who supported and greatly enjoyed their participation in sports, especially baseball.  She was known to watch sports on TV while living alone and loved gardening in her home. 

She was a beloved grandmother of Nicholas (Stephanie), Daniel (Jason), Brian (Taylor), Danielle and Christine and caring great-grandmother to Alexis, Lucas, Eliza, Logan, and Olivia.  She was an aunt to an abundance of nieces and nephews.  Eva will be greatly missed by her family. 

Visitation will be held for Eva on Sunday, May 31, from 2 – 8PM at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home, 33603 Grand River Ave, Farmington, MI 48335. 

Services will be held on Monday, June 1. There will be a viewing at 10:00 followed by a service at 11:00AM at Celebration Lutheran Church, 39375 Joy Rd, Westland, MI 48185. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, or the Finnish Cultural Center.
