Ethel LaCourt

Ethel LaCourt of Dearborn passed away August 24, 2024 at the age of 91.  She was born July 6, 1933 in Dearborn, Michigan to John Royce, and Catherine Chambers.

Devoted wife of 23 years to the late Ronald LaCourt.  Loving mother of Kathleen (Joe) Bonno, Richard (Cathy) Anderson, Ronald (Lisa) Bishop, Yvonne (Bill) Fisher, Ronald (Mary) LaCourt, and Michael (Cheryl)  LaCourt. Cherished grandma and great-grandma of 12, as well as a great-great grandmother of 1.

Known for her love of dogs and her passion for travel, Ethel cherished her role as a homemaker, always keeping her home beautifully decorated. A charming hostess, she made sure every meal included a steaming cup of tea and ended with a scoop of her favorite dessert, ice cream.
Ethel will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her. May she rest in peace.

visitation will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 10am until time of service at 11:00am at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home 33603 Grand River Ave, Farmington, MI 48335.
