Elizabeth "Betty" Crane Obituary

Elizabeth A. Crane of Farmington Hills passed away January 31, 2023 at the age of 87.  She was born September 29, 1935 in St. Louis, Missouri to William and Mary Clarke.  Beloved wife of the late Jack Crane for 40 years.  Loving mother of Debbie (Don) Petersen, Diane (Dan) Portner, Steve (Katrina) Crane and Cathy (Jose) Mila.  Dearest grandmother of Lauren (Eric) Wasiloff, the late Daniel Petersen, Katie (Jay) Bains, Bethany Petersen, Danielle Mila, Megan (Nick) Atwood, Lyndsay Crane, Kyle Crane, Amy Portner, and Evan Portner.  Dear great-grandmother of James and William.  Sister of Martha Lindberg.  Elizabeth is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.  She was a member of P.E.O. Sisterhood (Philantropic Education Organization) and the First United Methodist Church of Farmington since 1971.  She also enjoyed cross stitching and above all else she loved spending time with her family.  Visitation Sunday, February 5, 2023 from 3-8 pm at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home, 33603 Grand River Avenue, Farmington, Michigan 48335.  Instate Monday, February 6, 2023 at 9:30 am until time of funeral service at 10 am at First United Methodist Church of Farmington, 33112 Grand River Avenue, Farmington, Michigan 48336.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the Leader Dogs for the BlindFirst United Methodist Church of Farmington, or Philanthropic Education Organization Sisterhood.
