Dr. Lavoisier J. Cardozo Obituary

Age 75. Beloved husband of Blenure for 42 years. Loving father of Yvonne (Alan) Baptist, Charmaine (Nathan) Derhammer and Shaun Cardozo. Cherished grandfather of Maya, Sonia, Evie, Trevor, Griffin, Declan and Eloise. Dear brother of Maria (Kenny) Dantas.

Funeral Monday 10 a.m. Mass (in state 9:30 a.m.) at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 23815 Power Rd., Farmington, MI 48336. Rev. Fr. Mario Amore will officiate.

Dr. Cardozo's family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. (Scripture Service 7 p.m.) at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home in Downtown Farmington.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Rosa Parks Geriatrics Center, 4201 St. Antoine St., Ste. 5B, Detroit, MI 48201.
