Doyal "Dotty" G. Bradley Obituary

Doyal (Dotty) G. Bradley, 86 of Farmington Hills, Michigan passed away peacefully at home with her family around her on January 20, 2022. She was born to the late William and Hannah (Gilman) Boggs, August 31, 1935, in Logan, West Virginia. Dotty went to high school at Berea College in Kentucky. She came to Detroit, Michigan, to work at the Ford Motor Company as one of their Comptometer operators in accounts payable.

She married Mahlon Patrick Bradley, whom she met on a blind date, on June 27, 1959.
Together they had 3 wonderful children. On April 11, 1982, Dotty realized that she could not get to heaven by good works, it is only by the finished work of Jesus Christ. Dotty put her trust in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on that day. She wanted to share what Jesus did for her to everyone she met. She went on mission trips to Mexico and Russia to pass out tracts so the people she met could read how to get to Heaven. She went witnessing almost every Saturday to tell the Jews and Muslims that Jesus is “the Way, the Truth, and the Life.” She spent the rest of her days telling others and passing out tracts about the good news that Jesus saves.

She is survived by her loving husband Pat, 3 children, Brent (Laura) Bradley, Omaha, Nebraska; Kirk Bradley Farmington Hills, Michigan; Regina (Kevin) Holland, Pound, Wisconsin; 9 grandchildren, Daniel Bradley, Colorado; Peter (Grace) Bradley, Colorado; Sarah (Ben) Stuart, Nebraska; Mahlon Holland, Michigan; Hannah Holland, Wisconsin; Nathan Bradley, Nebraska; Joel Bradley, Michigan; Naomi Holland, Wisconsin; Lydia Holland, Wisconsin, 3 great grandchildren, Haivyn Bradley, Greyson Bradley, Hudson Stuart and 1 brother, William Boggs. Dotty was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters.

The family will greet relatives and friends at Cornerstone Baptist Church located at 29850 W. Six Mile Rd. Livonia from 9 am until the time of the service at 11 am with Pastor Darrin Lee officiating. There will be a luncheon following the service. Dotty will be placed to rest at Lenore Memorial Gardens, Williamson, West Virginia.
