Dianne B. Flock

Dianne Belle Flock of Farmington Hills passed away March 4, 2026 at the age of 81. She was born June 21, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan to George and Ruthanne Crosby. Dianne studied accounting at Wayne State University. She retired from Maritz Market Research Company after a long and successful career in the market research industry. She and her husband Fred liked to travel and visit family all over the country. They also visited such far-flung places such as Hong Kong and Scotland. Dianne liked to cook, especially Creole and Cajun recipes she learned while attending the New Orleans School of Cooking.

Beloved wife of Frederick. Loving mother of the late Ricky Allen (Toni) Bess, George Franklin (Rhonda) Bess, Victor Bess, and Sandra Bain. Stepmother of Kate (Jason) Flock and Christopher (Kirstin) Flock. Dearest grandmother of Richard Bess, Andrew Bess, Jennifer (Lance) Mason, Michael Norman (Kelsey) Bess, Jordan Bess, Shawn Bess, Ashley Daniels, Brian (Heather) Bess, Kyle Bain, Thomas Collins, and Kacie Flock. Dear great-grandmother of many. Sister of the late Robin Crosby and the late Joanne Crosby Delbalso.

Visitation Sunday, March 8, 2026 from 3-8 pm at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home, 33603 Grand River Avenue, Farmington, Michigan 48335. Funeral service Monday, March 9, 2026 at 10:30 am at
the funeral home. Interment will follow at Roseland Park Cemetery, Berkley, Michigan. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
