David Bruce Livingstone

LIVINGSTONE, DAVID BRUCE, of Farmington, unexpectedly passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023, at 59 years old. David was born on March 4, 1963, in Detroit, Michigan to parents David Stanley and Phyllis (née Hayward) Livingstone. David attended Harrison High School in Farmington, MI. Following his high school graduation, David had earned his BFA English from Western Michigan University focusing on communications Minor in Philosophy in 1988. David was a passionate and innovative musician, noise maker, composer, music producer, author, editor, playwright, performance artist, rabble rouser, loving partner and father, a fierce champion for justice and seen by his closest friends as an evil golden-hearted genius.  David is survived by his girlfriend of many years, Michele Estebon and their daughter, Sovay Mandela Livingstone; his father, David Stanley Livingstone; and his siblings, Laura McNellis and Jack Livingstone.  David was loved by many and will be missed deeply. As his wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in David’s honor on March 4, 2023 at Greyline 100 N Ashley Street, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48104 from 5-9pm.
