Charles Glen Davidson

Charles Glen Davidson, age 69, passed away May 8, 2022, after a courageous battle with ALS. He never gave up his positive spirit.

Beloved husband of JoAnn Davidson. Loving son of the late Russell W. and Naomi Davidson. Chuck is survived by his brother Doug (Susan), and sister Donna Taylor (Ron). Preceded in death by brother Russell (Lorraine). Chuck was a proud uncle of 6 and dearly loved his great and great –great nieces and nephews.

Chuck graduated from Redford Union High School and was a Michigan State alum. He spent his career with the State of Michigan Department of Civil Rights and was a Civil Rights Manager when he retired in 2015. He fought the good fight. He loved travel, sports, music, nature and being a dog dad. He leaves behind many dear friends, family members, and neighbors who will cherish his memory and miss his positive energy.

 Visitation Friday May 13 from 1-3 at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home in Farmington. Service at 3PM.  For those who are unable to attend, the Funeral Service will be live streamed beginning at the time of service. Please click here for the stream.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to ALS of Michigan, The Humane Society of Huron Valley, or The Center for Social Justice Human & Civil Rights.
