Catherine Anne Misener

Catherine (Cathy) Anne Misener of Farmington passed away peacefully at home December 27, 2021 at the age of 78.  She was born April 21, 1943 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Clifford and Geraldine Johnson.  Beloved mother of Michelle (Kevin) Englehart and Peter Misener.  She was the Loving Grandmother of Mallory Maciejewski, Max Davis, and Nick Davis whom she adored.  Cathy was the dear cousin of Jane Harris, who Cathy considered her sister and a compassionate friend of Teresa Biendit. Her long-term friendship with Nancy and Ken Golos was something she cherished. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Cathy loved to quilt and sew. She was very creative and made many items for her family and friends that will always be cherished. She was an accomplished photographer, crafting many beautiful photos. She was an avid animal lover and was looking forward to the furry critter Christmas gift that her family had planned to give to her this year. Cathy was predeceased by her parents and per her wishes, a private family service was held and cremation has taken place.  Memorial contributions should be directed to Michigan Humane to honor Cathy’s life.  https://www.michiganhumane.org.
