Carol  (Halliday) Prince of Englewood, FL passed away June 2, 2024 at the age of 87.  She was born November 11, 1936 in Ferndale, Michigan to Earl and Virginia Halliday. Loving mother of Donna (Chris) Lamkin, Janet (Jim) Iwanski, Sandy (the late Fred) Hopper, Ken (Margaret) Prince, Ron Prince, and the late Dan Prince. Cherished Grandma of Kelly (David) Genzlinger, Michael Polzin, Melanie McCready, Jessica (Keith) Billie, Kevin (Jamie) Hopper, and Wendy Hopper. Beloved great-grandmother of Ashley Genzlinger, Dylan Genzlinger, Jack Genzlinger, and Julian Hopper. Cherished Niece of Margie, sister of Gayle (the late Fred) Rosa and the late David (Rose Austin) Halliday.  Carol is survived by her extensive extended family including many nieces, nephews and cousins, she will be truly missed by all who loved her.

Carol loved family, wine, reading, gardening and adventures; her last adventure was parasailing with her granddaughter last year.  She also enjoyed watching movies, especially Columbo!

She always wanted to turn any event into a party, by adding decorations and fancy clothes. Her favorite holiday was Halloween.

A Memorial Visitation will take place on Thursday June 6, 2024 from 5-8 pm at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home 33603 Grand River Ave, Farmington, MI  48335. Additional visitation will be held Friday, June 7, 2024 from 12:00 pm until time of memorial service at 1:00 pm.
