Carmen M. DeLashmutt

Carmen M. DeLashmutt, age 101, of Farmington Hills, Michigan, passed away December 27, 2022. Born in Denver, Colorado, January 18, 1921, the daughter of the late Ernest and Leida Mathias. Beloved wife of 39 years to the late Van Banks DeLashmutt Jr. Carmen is survived by her three sons and daughter, Van Banks DeLashmutt III, Kenneth Michael DeLashmutt, David Lee DeLashmutt, and Nancy Jo Rajala. Beloved grandmother of 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Carmen is also predeceased by her loving sister Rosa Lee Fineout.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 18, 2023 beginning at 10:30 AM at Faith Community Presbyterian Church, 44400 W. 10 Mile Rd, Novi, Michigan. Memorial service will be officiated by Rev. Michele James.

In lieu of flowers, in honor of Carmen M. DeLashmutt memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
