Brian John Agee

Brian John Agee of Farmington Hills passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at the age of 63 .

Brian was born May 30, 1959, in Dearborn, Michigan, the son of Ira and Betty Agee.

Loving husband of 22 years to Penny (Priscilla), step-dad of Rachel Fellrath (Zachary), Erica Grant (Taylor) and Neil Vaughn (Samantha), grandpa of Owen, Grace and Atlas, and brother of Karl and Warren.

Brian was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing for walleye in the river, hunting on his property up north, snowmobiling in the winter and driving his side by side on rural roads.  There was nothing better than spending time at the cabin, tinkering in the pole barn and then smoking a rack of ribs on the smoker, especially if it was done with his family there with him. He started the organization "Michigan Custom 'Que" that provided food at events for the benefit of disabled veterans and the homeless.  He was a moderator on the "Wallleye Central" website for many years and a big contributor on "Michigan Sportman", giving fishing related advice to his fellow anglers and exchanging stories on "the one that got away!" He was always ready with a beer and good conversation with anyone who stopped by.

The Agee family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 18th, from 10:00 am until the 12:00 pm funeral service at the funeral home.

Interment will follow his service at St. Hedwig Cemetery in Dearborn Heights.

In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes are suggested to the Wounded Warriors Project, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Michigan or the Michigan Humane Society.
