Bob Malmstrom

MALMSTROM, Bob  Age 96

Beloved husband of the late Leila for 68 years.

Loving father of Susan (Martyn) Hiscox, Charles Malmstrom, Nancy (Ed) Donahue and Laura Malmstrom.

Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 greatgrandchildren.

Bob was born December 30, 1925 in South Range, Michigan to John and Josephine Malmstrom. After attending Hancock High School Bob enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving our country during WW II. Bob married Leila (nee Siekas) in 1947. Bob was an operating engineer, working in bridge construction, and was employed at Toebe Construction for 30 years in management.  He was a member of the Operating Engineers # 324, for 70 years, becoming a member in July of 1952.

Bob’s family has requested that everyone who attends wear a mask to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, regardless of vaccination status.
