Alvin Gerald “Al” Eden passed away in Novi, Michigan, August 15, 2025. He was born February 19, 1936, to Gerald and Effie (Keeler) Eden.

Loving husband to Naomi; father to Gerry (Joyce) Eden; grandfather to Jenni and Matthew and great-grandfather to Emery and Carson.

Alvin was predeceased by his first wife, Marla, and his two siblings: Lou Etta and Sharon K.

Pastor Eden dedicated some 67 years to full-time ministry, including pastoring, teaching, evangelism, and mission work across the world.

Viewing for Alvin will be held Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 9:30 am until service time, 10:30 am at Brightmoor Christian Church, 40800 W 13 Mile Rd, Novi, MI 48377, (248) 668-7000, with a luncheon to follow.

Burial will take place following the luncheon, on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Parkview Memorial Cemetery, 34205 Five Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48154.
