Alan Eino Harmala, age 50, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at his residence.
Born February 25, 1971 in Detroit, Michigan
He attended South Lyon Salem Elementary school, St. Peter’s Lutheran School, and Huron Valley Lutheran High School where he graduated from. Alan enjoyed spending time outdoors. He loved quality time with his family and Christian friends, and looked forward to his eternal victory. He was a member of the First Apostolic Lutheran Church in Howell, Michigan.
Alan was preceded in death by his father Ernest Harmala, May 1991 and several Aunts and Uncles.
Surviving is his mother Marjorie and Step-father Douglas Johnson, and siblings Cherie (Bill) Chapman, Kurt (Anita) Harmala, Ned (Linda) Harmala, Sonja Harmala, Brett (Lisa) Johnson, Bob (Colleen Johnson, and Jason (Tasha) Johnson. Special close cousin Kevin and Cathy Heikkila. Fourteen nieces and nephews; Shannon and Aaron Cosellian, Heidi (Adam) Randall, Neil (Jamie) Harmala, Katie (Jason) Ylitalo, Sarah Harmala, Lance (Brenna) Harmala, Amy Harmala, Lars Harmala, Laura Harmala, Brooke Harmala, Kaisa Harmala, Claire Harmala, Anders Harmala and Leila Harmala. Aunts Ethel Harmala, Eleanor Harmala, and Joyce Harmala, Several special great nieces, great nephews, and cousins and many brothers and sisters in faith.
Visitation 4pm-8pm Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at the First Apostolic Lutheran Church, 2970 Oak Grove, Howell.
Funeral will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2022, with viewing from 10 am to 11 am. Luncheon to follow and all are welcome.
