Virginia R. Beardsley of Commerce, Michigan passed away surrounded by her family April 20, 2019, at age 87.

She was born January 18, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of David and Audrey Keith. Virginia resided in Detroit where she began her teaching career in 1952 at Burt Elementary. Her career as an educator continued in Farmington, Michigan until she retired in 1997.

Virginia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her greatest joy was time spent with her family.

Virginia was the beloved wife of the late Harold W. Beardsley; loving mother of Deborah (Steven) Smith and Harold (Molly) Beardsley; proud grandmother of Jason, Brett (Lisa), Kyle, Audrey (Bill), Drew, Hannah (Kevin) and Jake; great grandmother of Luke, Grant, Reid and William; dear sister of the late Marion (Claude) Robinson.
