Age 86, of Novi. Born in Buford, Georgia.

Beloved husband and life-long companion to his wife of 66 years, the late
Irene Adams, who left us on February 9th of this year. Brother and dear friend to
Larry Adams (Judy). Precious father to Joan Lamb (Bob, deceased) and Vicki O'Connell (John).
Cherished and proud grandfather to Debra Ockerman (Ken), Mark Dreher, Christine Baker (Don), Michael O'Connell, and Tracy Lamb (Chantal); and to five great-grandchildren, Justin, Alesha, Megan, Stephanie, and Sabrina. In addition to his dear wife, he was predeceased by his parents, Wm. Charles and Vera Adams and his baby sister, Gladys Lancaster (Vernon).

A World War II veteran, he served in the 12th Air Force, 340th Bomb Group, 486th Squadron in the Italian Campaign. For over 50 years he worked in the marketing and sales of carbide tools.

Funeral Tuesday 10:00 a.m. at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home, 33603 Grand River Ave., downtown Farmington. The Rev. Dr. Victor F. Halboth, D.D., from Grace Lutheran Church of Redford, officiating.

Visitation Monday 3-8 p.m.

Interment White Chapel Cemetery.
