Stanley is a retired Detroit Battalion Fire Chief, and W.W. II U.S. Army combat veteran
and Purple Heart recipient.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday 11 AM (in state 10:30 AM) at St. Gerald Catholic Church, 21300 Farmington Rd, Farmington, MI 48336. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday from 2-9 PM with a Rosary Service 8 PM at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home, Downtown Farmington. Livonia American Legion Post #32 service will be at 7:30 PM.
