Shirley Vera (Robertson) McCreadie age 88, passed away early Thursday morning, July 11, 2019. She was born on March 25, 1931 in Highland Park, Michigan, the daughter of Russell and Barbara (Grimm) Robertson.

She served as an elementary educator in the Berkley Public School System. In 1955, she married the late William McCreadie. They have three daughters: Jan (Steve) Zolkower, Sue (Ken) Palka, and Nancy McCreadie. Shirley's grandchildren include: Ronald Zolkower, the late Gregory Zolkower, Joshua (Courtney) Palka, Justin Palka, and Kristine Palka. Shirley also has one great-granddaughter, Emilia Palka.

The McCreadie family will receive friends at the funeral home 10:00 am until Shirley's 11:00 am Funeral Service, Friday, July 12, 2019.

Shirley will be laid to rest privately next to her husband William at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, MI.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Shirley may be directed to St. Matthew Lutheran School, Walled Lake or Eyes, Ears, Nose and Paws, 209 Lloyd St #320, Carrboro, NC 27510
